Episode 26: Maximum Kang

Season #1

Maximus Kang has never been a groomsman. After his father's death when he was 13, Max dug deeply into learning as a way out of the working class. He studied past test answers to work his way through college as a tutor, foregoing deeper friendships and a social life. After being fired from 5 engineering jobs during the recession of 2008, Max pivoted to focusing on the eCommerce side business he had bought with a few friends during college. He leaned on his ability to learn again, starting an SEO consulting business to help other brands excel online and pursuing a SAAS business to serve a need in the market. After a failed dream of being a SAAS founder, Max excelled in a practical product that he uses in his own life: kids' cups. We talk about managing anger, managing money, and the grit needed to build a mission-led brand. Check out Cupkin.com for the very best steel kids cups!
