Episode 25: Alon Braun
Born and Raised in Israel, Alon Braun is a German-Jewish descendant raised in a religious family. As a teen, Alon became intellectually rebellious, questioning the traditions of his family and country. He went into the army at age 18 as all Israeli citizens must do, and his high performance landed him in special forces for computer development. Around the age of 25, and after pursuing world travels and higher education in computer sciences, biology and philosophy, Alon started to realize that the most important work he could do was his own inner work. We talk with Alon about how sound decision making without data requires better knowledge of the self. It requires a process for 'calculating' the intangibles, and that requires development of ones own inner world. You can get Alon's book, The Entrepreneur's journey, on Amazon.
